Sincerely Yours is a series of Red Packets (Ang Paos) designed in collaboration with Fine Paper Takeo.
In the theme of Rats, the series is designed with experimental typography & doodles to visually convey
Chinese New Year greetings.

By combining that with the artist's interpretation, the elements used assemble past experiences & traditional customs.
The intention is to bring back focus to the customs & cherish the little moments with our loved ones during
Chinese New Year through a fun & colourful concept.

The inspiration behind this set is to cherish the little moments with our loved ones during our celebration of Chinese New Year.
The idea came from the concept of writing a diary. Since Red Packets are one of the most memorable things in
Chinese New Year, I imagined these red packets to be our diaries.

Doodling from memories like learning how to write brush calligraphy of 福, to Ah Ma telling me my nose brings 福,
which means blessing.

We must not forget, a diary must have a book cover! Hence, the brown paper cover book.
As an Asian child, growing up I did not have any fancy diaries with locks and feather pens.
I used my old school notebooks as my diary, which inspired the Red Packet Cover.
